Today I will be ranking the OG America, AKA the 13 Colonies that fought and beat the British and created the foundation for the greatest country in the world. It will be based on my experiences in each of these 13 states during my lifetime and pure vibes. For those that are not from America or are very dumb, here is a map of the 13 colonies. Nothing else to it, but to do it.

13 - Georgia
Why would anyone want to go to Georgia. It is in the south, but is not really that warm due to the mountains in the west and north of the state. It gets super hot in the summer, but also kinda cold in the winter. It has no nice beach areas along the coast and the biggest city, Atlanta, is very dangerous and it has no real culture. Unless you consider homicide and other violent crimes a culture. It does have the best golf tournament, The Masters, but it is right on the border of South Carolina.

12 - North Carolina
They were on the wrong side of the Civil War, they barely have The Great Smokey Mountains, and I have never heard any good things about the Outer Banks. North Carolina really has a whole lot of nothing going on outside of a few of its cities. Name one reason to go to North Carolina and I will move it up on the list.

11 - New Jersey
Ahhh, the armpit of America. The only people that like New Jersey are people that are from there. Trust me, they will let you know they are from New Jersey wether or not you asked them. New Jersey wants to be New York so bad, but they never will be. Only reason that it is not last is because I rely on New Jersey for when I go to the beach and that is about it.

10 - Rhode Island
The only thing Rhode Island has going for it is that it has kept its statehood and has not been combined with another state. I bet you in high school I could be a state champion in a few sports. That is how small and boring it is. It has a lot of cool history, but that can only take you so far.

9 - Deleware
Who cares about Delaware. They were the very first state and still no one cares about them even though they had a head start. They got crappy beaches, crappy cities, and they are lucky that they did not become part of Maryland.

8 - New Hampshire
Anyone knows what is goes on up there? Is it anything besides the Appalachian Mountains? Who knows? The nature in this state is very pretty and it really carries the state all the way to number 8.

7 - Connecticut
New York jr is a little easier to say then Connecticut. Traffic sucks, no real nature, the only thing that it has going for it is New Haven Pizza which I have never had, but it looks incredible. One bite, everyone knows the rules.

6 - South Carolina
South Carolina is where we turn the tide from kinda ass to kinda good. There is Congaree National Park and the beaches in South Carolina are good. The golf scene is also really good for those that like golf. Some say better that it is better than North Carolina. It is very tourist friendly and it is basically a better Jersey shore.

5 - Maryland
Baltimore is a cool city and it has the National Aquarium right along the bay. The western panhandle is like a completely different state with the Appalachian Mountains providing wonderful scenery. The only thing holding Maryland back is that their state flag sucks and I feel like everyone down there has a salt life sticker on their jacked up Jeep Wrangle.

4 - Virginia
Virginia did take the Nations capital from Philadelphia and New York so good job to them. Shenandoah National Park is freaking awesome, Richmond is a nice city and is very upper class. The shore is nice and so is the weather. It would be in the top 3, but it lost about half of its state to West Virginia and the western part of Virginia is known for being very poor unlike the eastern side.

3 - Massachusetts
From Boston being an incredibly rich city in culture and history, to their sports teams being dominant in all 4 major sports, the city has pretty much everything. The nature in the western part of the state is just like New Hampshire. Speaking of history they have Plymouth Rock, the most impactful rock in the world and a beautiful monument that represents how the Pilgrims helped the early history of our country. If only they can make the state name easier to say and easier to spell, then it may crack the top 2.

2 - Pennsylvania
Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are 2 of the best cities in the country. Between them is a lot of agriculture and beautiful landscapes such as the Susquehanna River, Allegheny National Forest, and the Pocono Mountains. It has everything you could ask for in a state, except for access to a beach.

1 - New York
As the great Frank Sinatra once said, "New York, New York". For over a century, nothing ever happened in America unless someone in New York City gave it approval. It is the biggest city in the country and it just might be the most impactful city in the entire world since America became free. Not only that, but the Adirondack Mountains are beautiful. In New York you can have it all. Big city life, small town life, life in which you can live off of the land. Anything you can imagine, it can be done in New York.

Those are the power rankings of the OG states. I think they rank up pretty good if you ask me. If you disagree with them, then make your own power rankings. If you agree with them all, like and share with a friend.
